Dear athletes, spectators, partners, and table tennis enthusiasts,

It is with immense pride that I welcome you to the Vélodrome National of Saint Quentin en Yvelines for this new edition of the SQY Para TT French Open. Year after year, this event brings together the talent, determination, and passion of paralympic table tennis at an international level.

This tournament is a vibrant testimony to the spirit of para sports: a field where courage, perseverance and competitiveness combine to push the boundaries of sporting excellence. By valuing para sports, we celebrate not only the incredible feats of our athletes but also the universality and inclusion through sports. We are gathered here to honor these extraordinary sportsmen and sportswomen who inspire us with their strength, resilience, and unwavering determination.

I would like to express my deep gratitude to the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) for its renewed trust in us to organize this prestigious event. Many thanks also to our incredible athletes who, with their talent and tenacity, make the game shine; to our dedicated volunteers, the cornerstone of this event; and of course, to our generous partners who believe in our vision and fervently support the development of paralympic table tennis.

I would also like to thank the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines agglomeration, the French Handisports Federation (FFH), the French Table Tennis Federation (FFTT), the departemental handisport committee (CDH 78) and The Departmental Council of Yvelines.

To all who join us, in person or virtually, I invite you to enjoy each match, support our athletes, and share the spirit of para sports with your loved ones. Together, let’s make this edition of the SQY Para TT French Open an unforgettable one!

With all my gratitude and enthusiasm for the coming days,

Patrick MOINGEON
President of the SQY PARA TT French Open organising committee
